Step #3 - CURRENCY & BANK ACCOUNTS

When you arrive in Myths and check your inventory by typing in /i , you will see that you have a few weapons and useful items plus some currency. The Currency is called SP and will show as 500 SP. You will need these items in order to get a good start in Role Playing. However the currency is not enough to purchase everything that you will need. Therefore it will be necessary to earn money by buying, selling and trading. The Banks are your only source of safe keeping. If you keep currency in your inventory, when you die, anyone can click on your body and all your currency will go into their inventory. You will not loose your items, just your money. So it very important to always keep money deposited in the bank.

Prolix - Bank is 28s 19w Seller is 26s 20w another location is 20s 40w

Bank of Tir'an - 2s 75w

You can locate other small banks and sellers throughout Korth. Find one that is most convenient for you. .

HOW TO DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAW!

When you arrive at the bank, you will see one or more avatars standing behind the counter.Click on one of them and a message like this will appear on your chat screen,

"Welcome to the Bank of Prolix! Your account balance is 2189 SP. What would you like to do?

This is when you may want to check your Stats to see how much currency you have in your account. To view stats is to type /stats. Once you decide how much money you wish to deposit, then you will type in /deposit 100 sp (or whatever the amount you wish to deposit).If you wish to withdraw from your account you will type in /withdraw 100 sp ( or whatever the amount is you wish to withdraw). Once transactions are finished then click on the Bank Teller again to see what your account now reads.

When you purchase items from the merchants throughout Korth, the purchase amount will be taken automatically from your account. This is why you don't need money in your inventory unless you wish to give it to someone.

HOW TO BUY AND SELL!

Buying and Selling is one of the fun things to do in Myths. As you explore the world you will find many places to buy weapons and other needed items for your lifestyle and pleasure. All you have to do is click on the item you wish to purchase and it will take your money right from your bank account and the item will appear in your inventory as soon as the transaction has been completed. You will want to double check your inventory at the end of each transaction. If there is a glitch then please report it to Rumpelstiltskin right away. He is the bot director and will make all corrections.

Selling is a simple matter as well but will take a bit longer. You will need to go to the Sellers Tent at 26s 20w and click on the seller behind the table. This Message will appear in your Chat Box,

"Welcome to Korth! You can /sell to me!"

Once the message appears you will want to go to your inventory and see what is in there that you want to sell. Let's say you had harvested some sugar and wanted to sell it. So here is how you would make that transaction; You type in /sell 50 Sugar. Hint: Make sure you type the exact name of the item you wish to sell just as you see it in the inventory. Any letters added or deleted will make the transaction an err.

Once you sell the items to the teller you will see a message like this in your chat:

"Thank you for doing business with Prolix!
The merchant pays you 800 SP for your items."

Once you check your /stats to make sure the currency is there then go to the Bank and Deposit. You will be surprised how fast you can grow your Bank Account.
